Graduate Education Opportunities for Teachers

Graduate Education Opportunities for Teachers

The Walker School of Education offers a Master of Education with two professional tracks - Principal Endorsement and National Board Certified Teacher Preparation - as well as several graduate level endorsements for all educators that hold a valid teaching certificate.

Master of Education

  • Principal Endorsement track is for educators who seek to work in administrative leadership positions, such as Principal, Assistant Principal, Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent.
  • National Board Certified Teacher Preparation track is for educators who seek to make a greater impact within their classrooms, school districts and communities.

Graduate Endorsements

  • English as a Second Language (ESL) Endorsement is a graduate level program which offers proven educators the opportunity to teach in the grade levels they are prepared, providing they hold a valid teaching certificate.
  • High Ability Learner (HAL) Education Endorsement provides teachers the skills and confidence to teach all levels in their classroom across all the spectrum of abilities. Educators holding a valid teaching certificate completing this graduate level program will be able to promote the success and well-being of every high-ability learner.
  • Principal Endorsement Endorsement provides those holding a master's degree to enroll in a one-year endorsement program to equip them for advanced leadership roles in any school or district.
